I love Papers!

Sure. I cannot deny my love for papers, especially those with fun and colorful patterns. I always use them whenever i make designs for baby cards. Here are some of my newest found treasures.

Jairos's birthday celebration in QC

As a promised, here are the photos from my son's birthday which we celebrated in QC last saturday. Since my husband and I like giving our son a birthday cake decorated with his favorite cartoon characters, we surprised him with this cute cake from Goldilocks with UP characters topper. Jairos was so happy with his cake and the kids really liked it.

Hey guys! I got the chance to signed up on twitter yesterday. =)

under construction

It's been 3 days since my last post..It was a tiring but fun weekend for the three of us.We threw a small birthday party (part 2) for Jairos last saturday in quezon city so that his other cousins could celebrate with him also(i'll post the details and the photos on my next entry*wink*). I only got the chance to start my new-nest-construction project last monday.

First task,I browsed the web for other online sites to gather ideas. Honestly, I invested a lot of time doing this one coz there were a lot of awesome sites out there! I had a hard time choosing the best.

Second task,I studied how the website builder work. This was the most challenging part. Although the method was easy, just drag and drop the layout, no html or whatsoever (c'mon i'm a physician not a computer geek!), it still gave me a throbbing headache..

Third task,I start creating the website. I'm currently stuck in this part but am very proud to say that my website is almost done. I already published it yesterday, meaning my new nest is already floating somewhere out there the web! I'm still working on the the design of my banner and the display photos in my gallery.

Hopefully I can finish this soon but right now, I need to take care of my sick little baby :( haaaay..everybody is getting sick these days...

Hey! I just found this cool and interesting website builder where you can create your own flash website for free!! I am soooo excited! I'm about to try it now.. So this will goin' to be a very busy weekend for me. I'll get back as soon as I finished creating my "new nest"..exciting!! :D

Laundry day

Just awhile ago, my son came to me and asked permission if he can helped lola Inggay to do the laundry. Since my son and I love to make my tita asar, I gave him my permission..after a few seconds, i already heard my tita screaming..

My son had fun and successfully did his choir this day..to pissed my tita off! :)

Ranny and Amor 40th wedding anniversary

This is not part of my recent works. I did this invite last January of this year. See the old picture on the cover of the invite? This invitation is for Ranny and Amor's 40th wedding anniversary.The motiff is ofcourse Ruby red.Romantic, isn't it?

when you open the card, you will see on the left side the same old wedding picture which i zoomed in and adjusted the opacity for a dreamy effect.

Sarah & Wilbert's wedding invitation

I had a chance to make this wedding invitation for my client Sarah. She's really nice and easy to work with. The three pages invite is held together by a slightly transparent belly band with their names printed on it and a turquoise satin ribbon.

Wedding Invite w/ Picture Tag

Putting tags is one way of making your cards looks more personalized. But instead of putting it on the envelope or attached it to a ribbon and tied it around the card, i attached it directly on the main page of the invitation.

Mama & Jajai's Birthday Celebration!

My son and my mom share the same birthday, August 17. Since that date will fall on Tuesday (working day), we decided to have it celebrated in advanced yesterday. It was a simple but fun birthday party.

Jairos loved his Ben 10 cake which I ordered from Red Ribbon few days ago. We also bought my mom her own delicious chocolate fudge cake!
