Daily Ramblings: Flower Cupcakes by Amanda

{ looks very neat and the ribbon did an amazing job to gave this cupcake a perfect presentation }

{ love the subtle color of peach }

While 'miss P', my precious iP4870, is busy printing the invitation for my client's upcoming company christmas party, i get myself busy by checking twitter and reading blogs. In this morning rambling, I stumbled across the photos above by Amanda of i am a baker. The rose topper that sticks out is incredibly amazing and the delicate rose frosting is really pretty! Such a
wonderful idea to make cupcake looks elegant and stylish and of course..yummy! You can see more of these photos here.

Hand drawn roses for a vintage style birthday invite

Here's another fab birthday invite to share. Frank and his family wanted to give their twin grandmothers a special 60th birthday celebration this coming January. So he asked me to make something vintage-y birthday invitation for them. Most often, when you say vintage style, you always think of a damask design. So to make this invitation different and more feminine, i used hand drawn roses!

Gold & True Red fan style wedding invitation

I want to share this cute fan style wedding invitation i made for lovely couple elai and paolo. These two beautiful sweethearts dropped by the house on October to personally see my works and decided to have this kind of invitation for their wedding. I personally like their color motif (gold and true red) coz it's vibrant and elegant. Best wishes to both of you!

Honeysuckle: Pantone's chosen color for 2011

For 2011, Pantone chose Honeysuckle, a reddish pink color, as the shade of choice. Says the press release, "Let the bold spirit of Honeysuckle infuse you, lift you, and carry you. [...] Honeysuckle emboldens us to face everyday troubles with verve and vigor. It elevates our psyche beyond escape, instilling the confidence, courage, and spirit to meet the exhaustive challenges that have become part of everyday life." Geez, amen to that. :-)

Dark choco brown + blue vintage trifold baptismal invite

I just want to share this lovely vintage tri-fold baptismal invite i created recently for Mitch. The combination of dark chocolate brown and baby blue suits well to the sophisticated and vintage appeal of this card. The photos she sent to me were perfect. They're really cute! To baby Rian.. welcome to the christian world!

Corene's 1st Birthday

Danna asked me to make something cute and colorful layout for her little sister's first birthday invitation. She wanted the card to have flowers and butterflies. She didn't gave me a particular color for the invite, so I decided to use the photo as my basis in picking the perfect color.

blue + white fan type wedding invitation

more designs on my next post very soon! :)

Giorgio John's baptismal invite!

Most of the time, when someone order a baptismal invite from me, it is rush. And these cards, is one of the rush deals i closed. I received the call from Mayor Merin a week before the event and asked me if i could make a baptismal invite for her baby. She wanted 2 designs, the one she would gave to the godparents and the other one she would gave to other guests. So, for the godparent's invite, i made a half fold style card w/ the godparents name attached in the middle using a satin ribbon, and for the guest's invite, i made a simple flat card.

trip to Bicol

Just came home from our 5 days vacation in Bicol. The long drive was really exhausting but the scenery was rewarding.
{breath taking view of the lake}
{jairos and andre' were both enjoying the beautiful view on top of the hill}

jairos enjoyed collecting rocks with different sizes and shapes while dipping in a very cold water from 'bukal'
@the market buying some stuff before we head to the beach.

Jairos and I were having fun in this beautiful white sand beach
